Yes, she was more strange than Chrissy Snow, Gloria Bunker/stivic, Mork, Urkel, Screech, Waldo from family matters, and probably many more. I hate this character so much and the things that come out her mouth were just borderline or actually certified retardation.

Vera was weird, but Chrissy was staright up stupid. As starnge as Vera was, she had more sense that Chrissy. Edith Bunker was smarter than them all, though.

Same here. Vera was very naive and she had the mind of a very young girl. She also had the mind of a child as you recall the whole Santa Claus episode. I guess she was "special" but in a way that harmed no one. ;)

She's not my favorite character either but she had a good heart and she was harmless. I think it was because there were so many things going on with her that made her seem weird...she was child-like, naive, sometimes senseless, gullible, flighty, sometimes stupid, and she had some sort of nervous thing going on...I do think she has to be the most nervous character in tv history. :lol:

That's what I want to know. Why did they complain so much, yet they were always eating there. :crazy: I guess the food was awful, BUT CHEAP.

When she asks how are you, she's concerned about you. She is totally the opposite of her character in real life, and she's not a dingy in real life. Neither was Chrissy Snow; she was the making of the Three's Company show, and that show went downhill after her departure. :D
