They just disappeared!! The show never gave any reason (to my knowledge) of why they moved out of Mama's house. Or did I miss something? I'm watching Mama's Family on ION, I didn't see many episodes when it was first run. Buzz and Sonia are in all episodes until Fran dies and Bubba moves in.

The only thing I can tell you is when Fran Passed Away Mama said no Buzz and Sonia but you are right they just Disappeared!! from the show.

I recall something said in one of the first shows about Buzz and Sonia's mom leaving Vint to be a lounge singer or a blackjack dealer in Vegas or something like that. I think her name was Mitzi??

yes Vint Ex Wife did leave him toLounge Singer but the last I heard Eric Brown was working for some Football Team

I think that it would have been better if we heard more references to the two kids or seen then once in a blue moon. The one thing that I hate is when producers and writers decide to forget a history of a show and think that their new way can cover up the old. What they may fial to realize is that the mess that they covered up underground can rise back up. (i.e.old syndicated episodes from the first two years of the show)
