Finally--a storyline with Angela and Cap that didn't put me to sleep! I know everyone here, including myself, are HUGE Jinny fans, but you must admitt, it's nice to have an episode about the other characters as well.
I thought it was a pretty good ep all in all:

Lela did a great job portraying a distressed Angela tonight. If I were Angela I would've said a few unfriendly words to the man who kept questioning and pestering her about what she remembered. I would'nt of had that much patience with him. I wonder what the mood between Angela and C.D. will be now since Angela thinks C.D. thinks that she handled the matter in the wrong way. I don't think everything is fine and dandy between the two at the moment... (Is it me, or does anyone else find Daniel a bit on the annoying side? I don't know why, but he has bothered my for quit some time now.)

C.D.--She was there for Angela, but she really isn't comfortable in the 'comfort' department it seems. I think she felt out of place trying to help Angela. Maybe cause her former partner was a man and he didn't ever break down in tears...

Question for thought: Why did Angela turn to the Cap for condolences instead of her partner? I was sorta hoping to see more of C.D. helping Angela through this, but I guess that just wasn't to be...

Bonnie did a bang up good job tonight if ya ask me. I like how Captain handled that lady. It shows Cap has a soft side, but knows when to be firm. Plus, it seems she is spoiling her daughter. I must admitt, when her daughter mentioned working in the DIVISION I yelled no, because I do NOT want to see that happen. Cap's growing on me, and I like that they gave her a storyline worth watching...

Jinny and Magda---I was hoping for tension between the two because of last week's episode, but oh well! They work good together.

Only bad thing about this episode was they didn't show the preview for next week's episode http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

Jinny and Magda...I was hoping for Magda to at least mention last week and her 'disappointment' in Jinny for arriving so late to the prison. The actress who portrayed 'Shy Girl' certainly looked much older than the 18ish old character that she portrayed. I think Magda can kind of relate to the gang members because of her sister. Jinny is looking pretty tough arresting all those bad guys.

Cap and Jinny...funny no mention of the Captain catching Jinny plastered coming out of the bar last episode...guess it'll be brought up soon.

Cap and her daughter...they seemed to get along better than ever. I thought it was a bit too convenient for Kate to so easily see through that lady. I may have just let the woman go seeing that it had been 30 years...maybe captains can't be so lenient when it comes to the law.

CD and Angela....I thought it was wrong for CD to tell that investigator that it wasn't the way she would've handled the situation. The Captain seems much more sympathetic toward Angela than whe would've been toward Jinny in the same situation. I must add that the actress who portrays Angela is quite beautiful.

Overall, a pretty good episode...can't wait til next week.

It was a good episode, not the best, but certainly not the worst.

I don't know if anyone noticed this too, but when Kate and Angela were talking after the incident, Kate said "Ang". A minor show of compassion. Finally, LR had some material of her own besides supporting CD. Good things come to those who wait.

The daughter wasn't nearly as annoying as she had been. I could handle these little pop-ups as long as she's not annoying! I thought Kate handled that whole situation well. It's a sticky area, but she had to do something. If it came up in the future that Kate knew and did nothing she would have been in some hot water.

The gang storyline was ok. I've never seen that twist before. Overall, I must say that the acting from the main cast has been stellar through out the whole season and it's getting better. I think they're finally finding the right combination.

Michele35, please help me out. I'm going to be in California next Sunday and what time does the Division come on at? I'm not even sure I'll have cable where I'll be, but I may be in need of an hour break from my family. My "tinker toy" electric company better not fail me (the tape will be set just in case)!!

Poor Angela. I so hope that everything works out for her. I bet she kind of feels betrayed though because she discovered that CD really didn't agree with what she did. I don't like Daniel AT ALL!!!!! Telling her to quit her job was an awful thing to do. He is really obnoxious!

I have absolutely no interest in any storylines involving the Cap's daughter. I just don't like Amanda. I was saying "No!" whenever the Cap mentioned Amanda working in The Division. I totally agree with you ks, I don't want to see that happen.

Great Jinny/Magda interaction! They work well together. Whenever "Shy Girl" had that gun pointed at Jinny, I seriously thought that she was going to shoot Jinny!

I was surprised that there was nothing mentioned that pertained to the Cap seeing Jinny drunk last week. I was watching to see if the Cap was looking at Jinny any differently during this episode and she didn't. I was expecting at least some glares or sympathetic looks from the Cap to Jinny.

No Teddy tonite............THANK GAWD!!!!!!!

Has anyone noticed that in certain light, Nancy's hair looks dark red?

Where was the preview for next week's episode? I was looking forward to it! Oh well, I can always visit the Lifetime website.

I like this ep too.

Cap: I really liked the storyline with her. For once.

Angela & CD: I liked the way CD was in this one. You could really see she has a soft side. And Angela, i just really liked the way she was portrayed by Lela. Kinda distressed in a way.

Jinny and Magda: I wish that they had showed something more with them that went back to last weeks episode. I thought there may have been some tesion between them or at least said something.

This was a good episode IMO. I really enjoyed it.

Bad things: They didnt show a preview....and they didnt say anything about that LETTER that she left Teddy. I really wanted something like that. But still a good ep.

CANT WAIT TIL NEXT WEEKS EP. THIS ONE IS GONNA BE GOOD!

My turn! Hehe...

Cap.- I thought the story line with her was really cool. To tell you the truth, I was kinda shocked to see more of her! I mean, she hasn't really been in there alot in these last couple of episodes. Cap Jr. wasn't all that bad actually. But I'm glad she's not gonna be workin' at The Division. It would be kinda funny to see how everybody would act toward her, especially Jinny.

CD and Angie- I felt so bad for Angie. I mean, she didn't do anything wrong! But she has to go through hell, and I know what that feels like! Hmmm... Daniel... he's OK, but I didn't like how he wanted her to quit her job. Yeah, it's dangerous, but maybe that's what she likes. I can't believe that questioner person. He made it sound like CD wasn't on Angela's side, but she really was. I feel sorry for both of them.

Jinny and Magda- That story line was a little different! I've never seen anything like that before. It was good though. I was really hoping that Cap would have something to say to Jinny about the last ep. I was hoping Teddy would be in there too. Atleast for a minute or two. I wanted to see what his reaction was toward her, and what was on the note she wrote him.

Over all- It was a pretty good ep., not my favorite, but it was OK. They could have atleast shown a promo for next week!

[But you can just call me Jinny Exstead.]

JIN AND TEDDY ROCK!!!!!!!

On April 24, 2008, Dana and I are to meet in LA and handcuff ourselves to Nancy McKeon [Jinny Dearest] and Jay Harrington [Teddy Dearest], and you're not. Hahaha! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Blair: I don't sweat, I glisten.
Jo: Well, you're glistening like a pig!

Teddy: So, uh... I don't know. What else did you buy?
Jinny: How do you know I bought you anything for your birthday? Maybe I plan on knitting you a sweater or... give you something much more organic.
Teddy: Well, you do give good organic.

Teddy: Be honest with me, not my parents!
Jinny: All right, fine. You want honesty? Why don't you let me tell you a little bit about my family? See, I never really had a birthday party unless of course you wanna count my 15th, when my father showed up for cake, plastered in his underwear! Oh... yeah, by the way, my mom couldn't make it that year either because, well, sadly, six months earlier she BLEW HER BRAINS OUT!!!!!
Teddy: Jinny, my God.
Jinny: As for my brother, ugh... yeah, John... see, he just doesn't like you unless your American, white, and straight... and for me... a few weeks ago when uh... I had that nut case after me... yeah, I had to make a little list, of all the guys that I've slept with in the last two years. I couldn't remember some of their names.
Teddy: Stop.
Jinny: Ya know what? THIS IS WHO I AM, THIS IS MY FAMILY!!!! Come on, it's your turn. You go ahead, flash that all-American, prep school, choir boy smile and you tell me that it doesn't matter.

Leslie,

I heard Cap call Angela "Ang" as well. I think she really tries to show that she cares, but she is sometimes afraid to. Perhaps because she is a female in a man's line of work and she doesn't want to get accused of anything...

I'm ready to see Cap and Jinny get into it. I know SOMEWHERE Cap has a soft spot for Jinny and she feels sorry for her, but I really can't wait to see it play out. It's gonna be good http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

What else happened? What did they look like? What were they wearing and all? Does anybody have screencaps?

GIRL: "She said he was good in bed. REALLY, REALLY, goood."
C.D.: "That narrows down the field."

C.D.: "What's that?"
Angela: "My checklist."
C.D.: "You forgot the most important thing."
Angela: "What's that?"
C.D.: "Lunch!"

Goodbye
(Mary-Kate McNamera, 2ooo)
(Mary-Kate McNamera, 2ooo)
Long lost thoughts, memories of the past --
You made them surface,
But they didn't last.

Friend or foe?
It's both the same.
Those you love are those who bring the deepest pain.
It is a shame

Tell me how it is to see me suffer,
How does it feel to be the one who's killing me?
Can you see the shock in my dying eyes?
I've been so happy that I didn't notice how you drove the knife inside of me -- oh so slow.
That was until now that I'm feeling how I'm losing my life.
I hope you're satisfied, now that my lifeless form is crumbling to the ground.

Blowing out the flame,
Driving me insane.

My last moments -- you're witnessing them.
Go on, keep on watching me.
We both have smiles on our faces -- it's over.
My last thought: I hope I'll finally find my peace...

i really like this episode and thought it showed a side of angela that we did not really dont get to see very often and it was nice for her to get compasion from cap. also i found daniel to be rather annoying just ahhh go away~ and i was sorta wondering why cd wasnt there much for angela but its proabley because shes not use to all the show of emoition with having a female partner(i am not trying to be sterotypical, but more often then not woman are more openly expressive with emoitions)

jinny and cap i think they are going to raise this issue like when she comes to work dtunk in the season finale and be like previously on the division...

caps daughter...aghhh shes so annoying grow some freakin' hair!!! short hair looks good on some people but shes not one of them!! ok IMO this is one of her more annoying episodes yet it was good mother-daughter bonding

magda- why didnt she raise the issue from last week? and why does she always have smart aleck remarks that put down jinny?! in the next few weeks there are going to be some bumps in there partnership!

------------------
Jinny: They all start laughing at you. I mean we're not talking little girly giggles ,Theodore. We are talking ear splitting humiliation inducing derition here!"
Thoedore: "Why?"
Jinny: "Cause you're BUCK-NAKED my friend....

"one time at band camp..."-American Pie

"im wearing a dress..ive got gel in my hair...i havent got sleep in two days...im armed...dont mess with me"-Miss Congenality

I think they want to keep us guessing. They're not like N@N, they actually have good and smart programmers who use their brain to get viewers tuned in!

I was moving this weekend, so my comments are a little late.

Capt. Kate: I like you so much more since you dropped the ADA. Let's just hope that he stays gone.

Capt. Jr.: How old are you? 18, 19, 20? Just checking, because you behave like a 13 year old. And the last scene, when you begged for an X-large pizza with pepperoni? You need to consider salads. Seriously. Look into it.

Jinny/Magda: nice way to drop the ball on last week's storyline. I think they could've done a whole lot more. Anyhow, I am glad that we got to see other characters besides these two.

CD/Angela: Check out the compassion on CD. I think she managed to be as comforting as she knew how. I agree with Michele, LR did an awesome job portraying someone who was anguishing her actions. I also liked how her storyline didn't wrap up into some neat little package. I can't wait to see the lasting effects.
