William Shatner is still angry about the less-than-spectacular way his legendary Star Trek character Captain Kirk was killed off. Shatner, who played Kirk on both the big and small screen, on and off, from 1966 up until 1993's Star Trek: Generations, wishes he had insisted on a better death scene.

Even "Star Trek" fans were disappointed when the heroic sci-fi character fell to his death from a cliff.

The 76-year-old says, "The mistake I made was thinking I could make it a spectacular death with what they had written."

yea; me too. I mean; he takes the Enterprise from one side of the galaxy to the other numerous times; faces danger, and even death; numerous times; and always manages to live; and how does he finally die: BY FALLING OFF A CLIFF!!
