... I gathered four prices courtesy of "The Big Sprain":
fresh beef tongue: 55¢/pound
triangle tip roast: $1.40/pound
fresh ground round: 89¢/pound
lean ground sirloin: 92¢/pound
This was in early 1970. I believe the prices were the same in an earlier episode from late 1969 (I forget at the moment; I remember Alice being in Sam's store and sticking her tongue out at the price of tongue-LOL!).
