It seems logic would say that Kelly and Slater have more in common than does Kelly and Zack. I believe Kelly simply could not resist Zack's wit, something Slater lacked on the show. I guess it just goes to prove that sometimes a persons mind can be more of a turn on than someones bod, though look how Zack turned out when he got older!

I noticed that as well. But we have to take into consideration that during the first season, Slater was the new kid... he was someone new and interesting to Kelly. It's easy to see why she was so attracted to him.
