Does everyone here really think that Teddy is going to leave after he and Jinny break up?

I'm gonna go on record by saying I don't. I think there is a 'plot' behind Jinny sleeping with another guy. I really don't think they are going to kick Jay off because he and Nancy are great together. Plus, I'm sure LIFETIME has gotten THOUSANDS of e-mails telling them how much they like Teddy, and they're not going to kick a popular character off the show. I think Teddy is gonna play a strong supporting role with Jinny facing her alcoholism...
I can't wait for the second season, ya never know, he may become a regular.
It'll be interesting to see!

What does everyone else think?

They better not brake up. For Jinny's sake.

Well... they are. Not a damn thing we can do about it. I wish there as though.

I really hope Teddy doesn't leave for good. But he's an ADA, how could he just leave? That wouldn't make any sense. I really think Teddy's gonna have some more to do with her, maybe after she gets her addiction under control, but I think he's gonna be there to help her through that. He loves Jinny too much just to leave her, no matter what she does. He's already proved that with coming to Jinny's apartment after they had that huge fight. That's what I admire about him.

JIN AND TEDDY ROCK!!!!!!!

On April 24, 2008, Dana and I are to meet in LA and handcuff ourselves to Nancy McKeon [Jinny Dearest] and Jay Harrington [Teddy Dearest], and you're not. Hahaha! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/tongue.gif

Teddy: So, uh... I don't know. What else did you buy?
Jinny: How do you know I bought you anything for your birthday? Maybe I plan on knitting you a sweater or... give you something much more organic.
Teddy: Well, you do give good organic.

Teddy: Be honest with me, not my parents!
Jinny: All right, fine. You want honesty? Why don't you let me tell you a little bit about my family? See, I never really had a birthday party unless of course you wanna count my 15th, when my father showed up for cake, plastered in his underwear! Oh... yeah, by the way, my mom couldn't make it that year either because, well, sadly, six months earlier she BLEW HER BRAINS OUT!!!!!
Teddy: Jinny, my God.
Jinny: As for my brother, ugh... yeah, John... see, he just doesn't like you unless your American, white, and straight... and for me... a few weeks ago when uh... I had that nut case after me... yeah, I had to make a little list, of all the guys that I've slept with in the last two years. I couldn't remember some of their names.
Teddy: Stop.
Jinny: Ya know what? THIS IS WHO I AM, THIS IS MY FAMILY!!!! Come on, it's your turn. You go ahead, flash that all-American, prep school, choir boy smile and you tell me that it doesn't matter.

Yes, Teddy DOES love Jinny very much, but if someone you love does something so major, like sleeping with another person, it's hard to just deal with it. He might still love her, but I doubt that he would be able to forgive her for such an act.

I don't think that Teddy will leave - I think that he will probably give Jinny the cold shoulder everytime he sees her, though. I think that Jinny will be so upset by their breakup that she will just totally get carried away with her already awful alcoholism. Jinny will just "drink away" all of her problems and not see her biggest problem, which IS her drinking.
