I just saw the last three seasons of the MTM Show for the first time and loved them! I was just interested to see what some of your favorite moments/scenes were from the whole show. One of mine is on "Lou's Army Reunion" from season 7 when Lou burst into Mary's apartment and ended up punching his old army buddy that she was on a date with. I think this part was one of the best moments of the whole show:

Mary: …and as for you! Bursting in here like I couldn’t even take care of myself. Who do you think you are?
Lou: I think maybe I better be…
Mary: Sit down! You and I have to get something straight here.
Lou: No Mary, Mary, you don’t have to say anything. I know I owe you an apology for tonight. I guess I, I guess I look on you as kind of a daughter, as someone who needs protection. I know its not that way, but I in my eyes you’ll still be that same wide-eyed naïve girl that came into my office seven years ago looking for a job. I, I can’t help it. It’s just the way I see you – sweet, innocent, vulnerable. I just hope you’ll understand
Mary: Oh, I think I can.
Lou: I really, uh, I really better be going.
Mary: Goodnight Mr. Grant
Lou: Goodnight Rocky

I just loved that! :D

"Lou's Army Reunion" is one of my favorite episodes. I just love the Lou/Mary relationship. :D I really love the scene between Mary and her date, Jake, at the beginning of "Lou Dates Mary," that was just classic Mary. The scene in Sue Ann's bedroom is def. a classic that I don't think I'll ever forget. "Did you decorate this yourself....or did you have a sex maniac come in?" :lol: Mary telling Ted to shut up in "The Good-Time News" is great. Then of course, you have the obvious ones like the infamous "bathtub scene" and Chuckles' funeral, which NEVER get old.

I could prob. go on all day, but I'll let some others have a turn. hehe.

Yes, there really are quite a few:

* Mary telling Ted to shut up on the air
* Mary's quick but really clever ultimatum to Sue Ann about Lars
* Mary at Chuckle's wake

and these are off the top of my head.

My favorite scene has to be the Veal Prince Orloff dinner party where Lou shovels half the meal onto his plate!

One of the funniest lines of the series for me is in the Mary Goes to Jail episode. Everyone's in her apartment waiting for the police to arrive and Ted decides to do impressions to cheer Mary up. He said "Who am I?" and then does this James Cagney impression; "I'm not gonna eat this slop. I'm bustin' outta here". Murray's response, "Sue Ann's first husband?" still makes me laugh out loud!

One of the funniest episodes of the show has got to be "Put on a Happy Face" from season 3, especially the scene at the office when Mary slips on the floor, and Lou picks her up-LOL. Great scene. But, that whole episode was hilarious.

The Chuckles the Clown is my favorite. Don't know much about finding old episodes of MTM. Are they available to watch online? Youtube has some of them, but not the Chuckles episode. Any other websites? I'm not even sure if it is yet available on DVD
