Season 2 of Two and a Half Men -- the highest rated comedy on TV currently -- is now on DVD. Watch Charlie Sheen...be Charlie Sheen. Well, OK, they did change the last name, but you don’t have to think about it too hard to tell that the Charlie character isn’t much a stretch, acting-wise, for Mr. Sheen.
Ultimately, though, Charlie just tries to remember the name of the girl currently taking a shower upstairs. Charlie’s uptight divorced brother is a constant source of pain, while Alan’s son -- 11-year-old Jake -- just wants to know what is for lunch and where the TV remote is. As of season 2, they’ve now been living together for a year, and are starting to get used to having each other around, but there are still lots of conflicts.
