The release date of Dolly Parton's 'Backwoods Barbie' will be in late Feb. or early March to coincide with a world tour that begins Feb. 28 in Minneapolis. 'Backwoods Barbie', her 1st mainstream country album in 17 years was previously set for release on Feb. 5th. Parton is currently scheduled to perform a dozen shows in the U.S and make a March 14th apperance at the South of the Boarder music conference in Austin, TX. She'll spend June and July on a tour of Sweden, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Stupid that her album has to come out later just because it has to coincide with her tour. :rolleyes: She's going on tour anyways. Why not release it on Feb. 5th, and start the tour on Feb. 28th? That way, people will have time to buy 'BB' and go to her shows.

country has never been my preferred genre, but I have always loved her and enjoy "Better Get To Living". Artistically though, I doubt she will ever top The Grass Is Blue.

I wish Dolly Parton never had plastic surgery or liposuction. She looks like Barbie now. But at least she admits that she had plastic surgery. At least, she is honest. I like when Dolly's figure was much womanly in the 70s and 80s, especially her performance in 9 To 5. Yes, I know she worn wigs during those eras, but her figure looked her best in the movie 9 To 5.
