...the first time you heard a curse word on TV? What show was it in? And what was it?
For me, it was a first season episode of "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE". (in 1975) Chevy Chase was the sole anchor of "WEEKEND UPDATE" back then, and once he was reading about Renee Richards; a tennis player who had sex change operation (this was also the first time I ever heard of this being done) and changed from a man to a woman. After he finished reading it; he said "Dr. Richards then started work on her book TENNIS WITHOUT BALLS".
The first time I heard one in prime time was on MASH once; when Hawkeye called someone a son-of-a-bitch.
