Knoxville Tn. - Knoxville police say a car chase ended with a stolen truck lodged on the train tracks and the oblivious driver lighting a crack pipe. Police say two people suspected in a string of robberies were arrested Thursday morning after leading officers on a chase that reached speeds of 70 mph. The chase ended after the suspects drove a stolen truck onto the tracks and got stuck. When officers reached the truck they found the driver happily trying to light a crack pipe. With the truck stuck, the police had to call the railroad company to stop a train from coming through.

^ yeah! I can never figure out why vehicles always get stuck on the train tracks either!

They really need to fix that, If my car was smashed to bits i'd want to sue the city for everything they have for not making sure these train tracks are safer. It worked to the cops advantage though :crazy:
