I've been up since 8:30 am and I am not even the closest thing to tired tonight/this morning. Insomnia sucks so badly. Well, I like being a night owl, but it's odd it being 5:20 AM and having a long day and yet I still feel energetic and not anywhere ready to call it a night.

And I haven't had any caffeine in hours

Oh no, poor you. I know the feeling, all too well. I'm up now, but by choice. I'm actually tired. Counting sheep won't help you. Try counting Beatle's hits, lol.

yay, it's finally hitting! lol

I was listening to a lot of music tonight too so I guess it was probably keeping me awake

Ugh, I know how that is. I work the graveyard shift at my job (10pm - 6am). Sometimes I work on Sundays, and my hours then are 9pm - 5am. Well, I was home from work by 6:30 this morning. Normally, I like to try to go to bed by 8:30am (so I can be up by 4pm or earlier). However, I just COULD NOT get to bed until after 10 this morning!! Ahhhhhhh! Then I woke up at 2:30pm and was up for a little while before I finally fell asleep again and stayed asleep until before 5:30pm. Ugh.

And now I don't know what the hell to do with myself, since it's the weekend...

what I hated about last night is that I wasn't even really paying attention to the time, and then out of nowhere, I looked and it was quarter after 5 am and I was still energetic and feeling like it was 9 or 10 pm.

Yeah, I hate that too! I'm always tired before I go to work but when I get off, I am so damn wound up I can't go to bed right away. SO DAMN ANNOYING. Especially when you consider I'm on my feet the entire shift, except for the two breaks I get. Ugh.

I hate going to bed early!!!,I do and I'm up half of the night tossing and
turning. What helps me fall asleep is when I sing a song that I know
the words too.Or name all the towns in my area,in alphabetical order.
Or else I just got on the computer,go online, and get off whenever I feel tired.

I went 57 hours straight without sleep (inc a 12hour shift at work) and it was hell, I could FEEL my heart pounding in my chest...eventually , I got 2 hours sleep in 70 hours or so, before getting back to relative normalcy

I'm sorry to hear this, John. Not being able to get a good night's sleep is a very unpleasent experience.
