Breaking news on E! News states Nicole gave birth to a daughter. The baby's name is Harlow Madden and she weighs 6 pounds. She gave birth at the same place Christina Aguilera had her baby, Cedars Sinai.

I just saw this too! Welcome little Harlow Winter Kate Madden! Congratulations to the family. Nothing better then a new baby for the new year. I wonder if Christina had a boy or girl?

Just the thought of a c-section makes my stomach hurt.

^^^Ahhhh the memories. OUCH!!!! Then again, I preferred the c-section to natural birth. ;)

congratulations Nicole and Joel

I hope Nicole keeps the extra baby weight, she is someone who doesn't need to lose the pregnancy weight because all the baby weight did was actually push her to a size 0 after being a size -5 LOL. She looked so terrible before she got pregnant and hopefully for her kids sake, as well as her own as well as Joel's, she'll stay relatively healthy from now on.

Oh God yes, I totally agree. She looked so healthy and glowing, so beautiful. Let's hope she stays on the right path as far as her health is concerned.

I am surprised Joel's name isn't being mentioned at all, just Nicole. Joel's the one who actually has a career that he worked for, as opposed to having a famous daddy and being friends with Paris Hilton. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for both of them, but it's funny that media is treating him like Kevin Federline when he's the one whose had hit records and a successful career, while Nicole is just famous for being famous

Actually when I seen the breaking news they did mention his name and showed pics of him along with Nicole. I have seen them both mentioned quite a lot actually.

BTW, I love the name Harlow. A rarity for me to actually like a name a celeb has given their child. That is so beautiful. Obviously some Jean Harlow reference.

 I wish Nicole and Christina nothing but the best for them and their new babies.

I love that name too...it's cute! Doesn't Holly from 'Girls Next Door' have a dog named Harlow?

Courteney Thorne-Smith (Melrose Place, Allly McBeal, According To Jim) makes three for three today as well. J. Lo is supposed to be giving birth in the next few months as well. It's a huge celebrity baby boom

I think she does (it might've been mentioned in an earlier episode). The name just sounds familiar to me when this post came up. Oh well...it's a cute name! :)

i would be humiliated to have that name lol. Sounds depressing and it sounds more like a boy's name. Where do some people get their kids names? It seems like all the pregnant/just had a baby people i know are just coming out with stupid names

This is good news. I was a little concerned about her pregnancy because of her extreme thinness. I'm glad everything turned out great. Harlow? I'm not loving it, but it's her baby.

I don't mind the name - it could have been a lot worse!

I'm just happy the baby arrived happy and healthy and yeah, hopefully this will keep some weight on Nicole.

It IS great to have some happy celeb news. Congrats Nicole & Joel!

Oh well,Who cares what people name their kids. The parents won't
be truly humiliated at the name they chose. That is until their kid
graduates from high school and then college!!!
