So my dad just got the mail and in there there was something from the Sec. of State giving my parents a website where they can see if I have ever had a ticket or even a warning. Now I did get stopped once but that was because I was going like super slow down a road in town cause I couldnt find someone's house. I doubt that thats gonna show up...right???? Anyway this kinda makes me mad because I'm seeing that as yet another violation of privacy. That feeling may just be because I am a teenager I dont know I bet parents love it but I dont.

That's terrible. I would just explain that to your parents, and to the insurance company, if necessary. I'm sorry that happened - you sound like a very responsible driver for your age.

They'll understand that I'm just saying it'd be stupid if that shows up on top of the whole thing being incredibly stupid

I am glad to have a daughter who drives and has been truthful with me when she received a warning or a ticket for speeding. I don't need to check up on her. She is 24 years old, but when she received her first ticket, she was right up front with me. My other daughter hasn't gotten her license yet.
Unfortunately not all teens are honest and not all of them can talk to their parents.
I'm all for it, since I have a teenage son.

Isnt that what tickets are for? I've never recieved a ticket but when a teen gets a ticket, how can a parent not find out about it? If the teen is doing something bad give them a ticket and notify parents. No need to set up an invasion of privacy site to say "your teen has driven slow in a residential area and we are just in a tattle tale mood today"

Exactly. Just like they have the right to take away cars from their kids who have booze in there. ;)

to some extent I agree with you all but being one of the "good kids" it kind of ticks me off at the same time. idk i've been in a screw the world and every little thing that happens has bugged me since friday. so I'm on edge and in my mind this is an invasion of privacy so its just rubbin me the wrong way.

you sound exactly like me lol. It seems we are always being put under a microscope for being good, the one time we might mess up we get probed at by people.
