View Full Version : Loni Anderson To Marry Her Childhood Sweetheart
Brian Damage 01-10-2008, 11:58 PM Burt Reynolds' ex-wife Loni Anderson is to walk down the aisle for the fourth time, to wed folk singer Bob Flick. The 62-year-old actress and The Brothers Four star Flick first dated when they were in their 20s, but the relationship didn't last.
Anderson went on to marry and divorce Reynolds; Ross Bickell; and Bruce Hasselbeck, before reuniting with the 69-year-old Flick at a recent concert performance in Seattle.
The couple will marry on May 17th. Reynolds - who ditched Anderson in 1993 - won't be invited to the ceremony, but their 19-year-old Quinton will give his mother away.
Anderson told a friend, "This one is for the rest of my life. I should have married Bob 40 years ago."

I can't believe she's 62.
Janice 01-17-2008, 11:12 PM Good for her. I've always liked Loni Anderson, and I wish her only the best.
Ireneparalegal 01-17-2008, 11:18 PM Same here. That woman deserves to be happily married and I am glad she found the man. I was really angry at Burt for how he cheated on Loni so soon after they married. Why marry her then?

I agree. Burt was a dirtbag and I used to like him too.
I hope Loni is very happy. She's always been a class act. :)
catlover79 01-18-2008, 12:51 AM By all accounts, Loni was a very devoted wife to Burt, and he treated her terribly. I hope her intended will make her very happy and treats her well.

LOS ANGELES - Loni Anderson was married Saturday to Bob Flick, a founding member of the 1960s folk group The Brothers Four.
The ceremony was attended by friends and family, including son Quinton Reynolds, who walked the "WKRP in Cincinnati" and "Nurses" star down the aisle. Reynolds is Anderson's son with Burt Reynolds, whom she divorced in 1993.
Flick met Anderson at a movie premiere in her native Minneapolis a few years after his group hit No. 2 on the pop charts with "Greenfields" in 1960. A local newspaper had sent her out to pose with the group as the "lucky young fan," an image that was used Saturday night as the couple's wedding poster, her publicist, Cheryl Kagan, told The Associated Press.
Anderson's granddaughters wore the same diamond hearts the actress wore in the 1983 movie "Stroker Ace," in which she starred with Reynolds.
Anderson, 62, plans to keep her maiden name.
