The duo that started it all, are back together to finish where they left off. The two who co-wrote Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals, and Holywood will be sharing the stage once again.

Joining Manson and Twiggy onstage for the U.S. leg of the Rape of the World Tour will be Chris Vrenna, Rob Holliday, and Ginger Fish. Tim Skold has amicably split with Manson, but future collaborations aren’t being ruled out between the two.

Expectations for the upcoming tour are best described by quoting one of Manson’s most infamous lyrics, “Everyone will suffer now”.

Marilyn Manson wasn't just the name of the notorious frontman, but of the entire band which used names of both supermodels, sex symbols, and mass murderers as part of their stage names:

Twiggy Ramirez (60's thin-skin British model and John Ramirez, the Southern California murderer who promoted himself as a "Satanist" and listened to AC/DC as the thing which, according to him, incited his killing spree in the mid-80's)
Madonna Wayne Gacy ("the Material Girl" and the mass murderer in the late 70's who killed young men and hid their bodies in the floorboards of his house in the Chicago area)
Daisy Berkowitz (Daisy Fuentes and David Berkowitz)
These were some of the names, though not all had hybrid supermodel/murderer names.

Like Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson was also the name of the band as well as its frontperson. Marilyn Manson wanted to use these monikers to point out America's obsession with with sex, celebrity status, and death. Ramirez (real name Jeordie White) even briefly played with A Perfect Circle several years back.

And guess what--Marilyn Manson will be doing a show in Seattle next month!!
