olive oil- the fact that she has to rely on popeye to come to her rescue and that she is as skinny as a rake says it all

Actually, Olive could handle herself in a fight pretty well in the original Segar comic, shes just useless in the animations...a bit like the way Sailor Moon cant fight without Tuxedo Kamen in the anime.....hes barely used in the Manga version!

The one character I cannot stand is Lucy in the Peanuts cartoons. She's a very crabby girl and a bully to the other characters, especially Linus and Charlie Brown. With her five cent psychiatry booth, she could be considered the forerunner of Dr. Becker.

 You know, Scrappy (never liked him but had no idea how many others flat out hated the character until a few years ago:) ) was always my least favorite character from the Scooby-Doo canon until that "13 Ghosts" kid Flim-flam (was that his name?) came along. It's as if he was created with the sole purpose of making Scrappy tolerable by comparison.

I also can't stand Mickey Mouse. He overshadows everyone and his friend Donald Duck is faded from the limelight because of it.

Beavis & Butthead - Those two got on my nerves with all that yeah,uh huh, yeah yeah. I don't understand why this cartoon was so popular back in the 90's.

Spongebob - Annoying and not very entertaining..

Daria - At times she can be ok and I liked the show. However her sarcasm and nonchalant attitude sorta got on my nerves at times.

Two Stupid dogs... I forgot the dogs names but I couldn't stand them..

Duckman - Not duckman but those annoying litte colorful bears that would talk in a high pitched voice grated on my last nerve.

That is one of the MANY reasons that I haven't even been able to enjoy CHARACTER deisng in cartoons since the Nickodeon NickToons boom....
ESPECIALLY from the Disney studio.

You got it all:
Triangular heads.
Broken off Lollipops stuck to the hEADS of Phineas and Ferb and looking like they are about to fall off
Not to mention the CHRIST-annnoying voices [but this is also another thing that has bothered me since the late ninteen SIXTIES. And I was eight then..SO...if by 1968 or so, when the Gulliver/Scooby-Doo era hit, if this then-child had a problem he was either foreseeing something veyr wrongb or maybe was hust a very intelligent child. Referring to myself. ]

Incidentally, was watching a bunch of Bob Clampett's old 1961-1962 Beany and Cecils on YouTube and saw the fun one shot "There's no Such thing as a Sea Serpent", aka the "Snorky" epic and was once again quite amused and deliughted. Now, THAT's a REAL fun cartoon [just like the whole Beany series was.] But then that was almost 50 years ago. [if I had a REAL list of cartoons I hated it would stretch from around 1967 to today, take up space and make TOO many enemies, and also show I may have to rewathc some of those, but I stand my ground,. Just on the Phineas/Ferb and their "too cool for school" it seems like EVERY 1990s show to today has that, unless they're "super-educational" or action based.]

The archies too. Damn I hate them sooooooooo

Well to be fair, the comic [and the spinoff "Josie and the Pussycats"] was acutaklly funny, it was the animated series that irritated ME-Reg and Ronnie are best as villians... BTW RE: Josie: the comic book made a good advantage of dumb blonde [no offense to real blondes] Melody---for instance, a line I might've come up with:

At a nearby park I saw a praying mantis [which IS what another "obnoxious" character, but one I like, CN's "Zorak" is] and made a joke, since a chruch was around and this was a praying mantis..."Here's the chucrch, here's the steeple, now Praying fly, and meet all the peoplke". Now THAT would be a line Melody the Pussycat would say, especially in the comics, if she had time to overcome any "girlish fears" and the Standards people would've have allowed, regarding regligion, or Archie Comics would have allowed, but that is just something I would have written.

In short, The Archie family, including those above were great comics but the animated treatments, of Archie esp. had to fall victim too much to late 60s-90s stanrards. [The Late SAMM SCHWRARTZ, a art director, writer, artist, letterer for Archiie for years, reminds me of Robert McKimson at Warner Bros.Cartoons: he kept with the tradiitonal relationships the most of the characters, the Betty and Ronnie rivalry, Juggie's closed eye look, and DID NOT COPY head artist, the late, and swindled, DANIEL DECARLO [himself a immensely talented gneious and one who set the house syle.] BTW That Josie cartoon series did one right kinda right, Alexandra and her cat at least were evil. BTW given the praying mantis joke I came with for Melody, based on my seeing a real one tonight, I just bet someone's going to say, "Hey, Steve, someone already WROTE that for Melody the drummer!" LOL

Yes, Godzooky was another variation on this theme. You could see it in the opening theme. Potentially dramatic cartoon adventure turns comedic at his introduction.
