:soapbox:
I have been watching America's Next Top Model re-runs. While I was watching I started noticeing how when the girls go to the Go-Sees some of the designers judge them so harshly. Like this one girl was so beautiful she had a nice body with a little thickness in her hips and thigh area. The designer was like your legs are too fat in my dress we are gonna have to take it out a bit. He made a big deal about it like he was discussed by that or something. I realy wish the modeling world had a different view of what is beautiful. I could understand if she was overweight or something but she looked gorgeous to me. If I was a designer I would get models who looked like all different kinds of shapes, healthy and in shape, but not the cookie cutter tall skinny model type. For example Mariah, or Beyonce body type.
