I'm all for equal rights and all that - but I think Jessie was a little too feminist, IMO. Like, for example, with the whole beauty pageant thing.

Sometimes it was overboard but it was funny... and that was the point; to have this ridiculous feminist. In some way it made me sort of mad because it's almost as if the show was making fun of feminist.

Kelly - she wasn't a snob like Lisa or an annoying feminist egghead like Jessie. Plus, the first autograph I ever got was from Tiffani-Amber Thiessen - and I still have it, 16+ years later!! :D

in my opinion lisa is a very good person. just like all of them. but yes she is a little snobish at times.

I don't know is Lisa ever really considered Screech as a friend. In that one episode where Lisa was trying hard to impress the intellectual snobbish boy, he was insulting her friends - but Screech wasn't included. I guess that means either he considered Screech to be an acceptable person, or he didn't take Screech to be one of Lisa's friends - because he was the only one to not be insulted. There were times, though, when Lisa seemed to care about Screech somewhat.

she was also really nice in the graduation episode because she kissed him. that was cool.

The character just bugs me. It's like she never does anything wrong, she kind of bored me. She has no depth or distinct personality... she doesn't add anything to the show.

Yeah, I usually don't find the goody type characters very interesting... unless they're the extremely/over the top goody.

Lisa. Although her treatment toward Screech was a little too mean.

There's some qualities of all of the girls that i admired:

1. Lisa: The prettiest of them all, i loved her style, her spunk, her atitude, without Lisa the other kids wouldn't have jobs at the country beach club! She saved the "teen line" when it was in chaos with her great advice, she played matchmaker, helped Zack & Kelly/Jessie & Slater get back together in that one episode where Kelly's little sister was crushin on Zack. When Zack was going into surgery in ("Operation Zack") Lisa helped him, she was there for him at his scariest time of his life, (twice!!) soothed his nerves and worries, held his hand reasuring him he will be ok and they even reminisced on the time when they were lil kids in the hospital together when they were 9 years old, It was because of Lisa that Zack felt better about going into surgery. Lisa was wrong to Screech at times but she loosened up and she did put a checkin on that bytch who was mean to Screech (like the other posters said). Say what you want to about Lisa but she served GREAT purpose in the show, she wasn't no dead weight! LOL, i voted Lisa as my favorite girl.

2. Jessie: The second prettiest, Very intelligent, goal-oriented, perfectionist, ambitious, somewhat narrow-minded and judgemental but she learned her lesson in the end. She should have won the modeling contract to Paris in the episode, "Model Students", (given on her height and supermodel body type, tall and slender) not Kelly, that didn't even make sense that she won it!!

3. Kelly: She was pretty, not like Jessie or lisa, but i got to give this girl credit where it's due. She was the first girl to give Screech a chance (ever!) on the episode "Beauty & The Screech". I don't agree with the poster who said Kelly had no depth or personality to her character, i think she shown depth when she was actually open-minded on dating Screech! While the other girls treated him like ****. Hell, Kelly fell for Screech hard!! if you ask me, she desired Screech in that one episode than she ever desired Zack throughout the whole run of the series!

In the episode, "Beauty and the Screech", you can tell that Kelly really liked Screech, she accepted him just the way he was, (the only girl who didn't treat him like dog shyt). It added some depth to her character, showing that even the most popular cheerleader in school doesn't have to be shallow and superficial when it comes to potential love. She wasn't ashamed to let it be known that she was SPRUNG off of him either. Isn't it funny that she shown more desire, interest and gung ho attraction towards Screech, than she ever had towards Zack throughout the whole entire run of the series??? i.e.

- Kelly was awed and amazed by Screech's creativity when she was in Screech's room. Even desribing his room and inventions as "cool" and other things of the sort. Ive never recall her getting this excited over Zack's attributes of innovativeness.

- She quickly fell head over heels for Screech! She was so love sick that she couldn't even think straight, (the girl even had on mis-matched clothes for goodness sake!) It took Kelly a while to finally give Zack the attention that he wanted.

- She had a sparkle in her eye, a glaze in her look as she was gushing on the fact that Screech was intelligent, great personality, what a great guy he was. (Never throughout the show has she ever desribed Zack with that same desire and interest as that one lil moment..........EVER ).

- Slater and Zack was fighting over her to go to that concert, but she didn't want neither of those clowns!! She wanted Screech!

- When Screech told her that they had nothing in common. Kelly was visibly upset. Even declining to go to the concert because she became so depressed over the potential romance of her and Screech ending. She ran off distraught, she probably even cryed when she got alone.

Screech was Clueless:

- He had absolutely NOTHING in common with Lisa either but that didn't stop him from chasing after her every chance he got!! (but i can understand that).

- Kelly was the first one to give him a chance, the only girl who didn't treat him like dog shyt.

- Kelly accepted Screech just the way he was.

- It didn't hurt that Kelly was one of the most sought after girls in school! It didn't hurt that she was attractive and sweet either!

I'm sorry, but i believe that Kelly still liked Screech even AFTER that episode. Am i the only one who catches the way she would say his name when she addresses him? Or the way she so quickly defends him when others put him down? Or how about the fact that she gives him the benefit of the doubt even after his "idiotic actions, screw-ups" at times?


I'm sorry to go a lil off topic yall with my long post, i was just proving on how Kelly served some purpose for the show, i'm glad this episode happened (watching it made me gain some new found respect for her) i liked her less and less though when she went back to Zack! They made a terrible couple.
