Former TV star Willie Aames has been left shaken after he and his son were robbed at gunpoint in Los Angeles on Monday night.

The actor, 47, was out in Hollywood with his 26-year-old son Christopher when a man dressed in a black jacket and blue jeans threatened them with a firearm and demanded cash. The stunned pair handed over their wallets and cash totaling just $15.

Aames, best known for his role as Buddy Lembeck on the sitcom Charles in Charge, and Christopher were unharmed in the incident, reports TMZ.com.

A police investigation has now been launched into the robbery.

I feel sorry for Willie...:( Glad he is okay.

Come on, Scott. Help Willie out a bit. He was robbed at California where you live, Scott. I hardly doubt Scott is going to help him....but maybe a little support for these two to finally reunite and forget old wounds once again? I feel sad for Willie and his son....it sucks to be robbed. My dad was robbed, also, too. :(
