I can think of a bunch, but I'll only list two so that others can name some.

Mike Nesmith - The Monkees - Mike wore a green wool hat in the first season of "The Monkees." For two episodes, he wore a blue wool hat, and then wore a green wool hat with white buttons down the middle. Half way through the second season, Mike went hatless for the rest of the series.

Lowell Mather - Wings - Lowell wore a dirty orange cap, almost all the time. He's also worn a blue cap, and a red cap. But the orange one is his main cap. Of course, all the DVD covers have him without his cap, he did wear it a lot on the show.

Gregory Sierra (:eyes:) wore quite a few hats both as Julio (Sanford & Son) and as Chano (Barney Miller). He often guested on Westerns, and wore cowboy hats as well.

Valerie Harper's Rhoda wore all sorts of hats and headscarves both on MTM and her own show. They made her look very trendy. :D

the kids from South Park are known for their hats. Although the more the show progresses, the less and less Cartman wears his signature hat, but Kyle always wears his and Kenny's only been seen outside of his parka two or three times

J.J. Evans is known for wearing his hat. Although I think he ditched it by the fifth season.

Also, just about everyone on "Hogan's Heroes" had their own trademark hat.

Mr. Haney, Mr. Kimmble, Fred Ziffle*, Eb, and Oliver sometimes on "GREEN ACRES".

*here's a trivia fact about the guy who played Fred Ziffle: he was actually 75% deaf-someone would crawl out, out of camera range and tap him on the leg whenever he had to say something.

Sgt.(later Lt.) Joe Friday(Jack Webb) and Officer(later Sgt.) Frank Smith(Ben
Alexander) both wore hats during the original 1950s Dragnet series until 1957
when Webb decided to have both Friday and Smith go hatless-this may or may
not have been due to a loosening of standards for LAPD Detectives regarding the
wearing of said hats or possibly Webb wanting to show off his new military crewcut
from The D.I., which had finished production shortly before production began on the
final batch of Dragnet episodes which aired between 1957-1959.

Michael Landon wore hats for a long time on both Bonanza and Little House On The Prairie
but eventually started wearing hats less frequently on both series until he was virtually
hatless on Bonanza.

Webb's role as Technical Sgt. Jim Moore in The D.I. also affected his career in
another dubious way-the strain of playing Sgt. Moore eventually ruined his
original trademark baritone voice from his early days and that is why on the
1967-70 color series he speaks with the now familiar dry rasp, which was
certainly not helped by his famous heavy smoking.

So that explains why Webb's voice sounds less harsh on the 1960s Dragnet than it does on the original 1950s version.

Sophia on the Golden Girls often wore hats when she would go out.

Dan Conner on Roseanne would often wear ball caps, especially more so in the early seasons.

Theo's friend in the later seasons, (don't know his name) always wore a hat. It was like a fedora, one episode Cliff tried to take it off and he said not to, it was like an extension of his head. LOL.

Will Smith on Fresh Prince often wore hats. Most of the ones he wore were ball caps and they matched his clothes, just like Hilary.

Barney Fife wore a hat a lot, especially when he would wear his deputy uniform and also when he would wear his suit.

On Dr. Quinn, a lot of the men wore hats quite often and the women would wear bonnets and fancy hats. That was typical back in those days just like LHOTP.
