Does anyone else ride horses? I started taking riding lessons when I was 10. I used to compete a lot in local shows, won some ribbons. My dream was to represent the U.S. on the Olympic team, but I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia when I was 16 and the doctor told me I shouldn't ride anymore. I still ride whenever I can, but I don't compete anymore, I just go trail riding for fun, less risk of injury. The last time I rode was on Halloween with a friend of mine. We rode on her land and even went through the deepest part of the creek! The water was up to the horse's chest and my legs were soaked! My favorite form of competing was jumping, it feels like you're flying! :)

We used to have horses. I rode just pleasure. I did like trail rides. My dad used to team rope and ride in gymkhana's. We don't have horses anymore. I miss them all. I haven't been on a horse in years.

I used to take riding lessons for about 6 months or more... I got tired of it however..

It was OK but not my cup of tea...

I love horses but I have never been horseback riding in my life. But I think horseback riding would be so wonderful and if I were to choose where I would go horseback riding is in the mountains in the snow because horseback riding through the snow would be so lovely and my dream horse if I were to have one would be a beautiful Appaloosa mare because I have seen them on TV and think that Appaloosas are very pretty
