When I could not get an answer to this question at the TV Land board I did a google search on CIC and found myself here. I registered here just so I could ask if Nick was going to show the first season of CIC. Young Bret Ferino, I believe ,was the first person to respond to my post.

The Good Times forum. I was doing a search on Good Times/John Amos and the first link was a place called Sitcoms Online. I clicked it and read some funny a$$ thread with a guy named Solomon, I can't remember which username he went by then, I think it was TVresearcher. Anyhoo he was mentioning something abt the son in she show kissing another dude. :rofl: I had to respond to that!

2. Who was your first SO friend? I will say Solomon and Brian Damage. Brian is the first person who PM'd me. He was welcoming me to the boards and then right after that Solomon did the same. I still have those PM's from 2005.

I was looking for sitcom websites and I found it. I lurked for a while. I don't remember what made me decide to join, but I'm glad I did.

I'd say Hommeriffic (though she was known as Wingsfan at the time). We both liked NewsRadio and Wings and got along well with each other.

Yes, in fact. I met Dustin (Dutabi84) for the first time in May of 2006 (he was actually in my town the first time in July of 2004, but we missed each other that time). Then I flew out to Los Angeles in March of last year to visit my younger stepsis (she lives in Long Beach, CA), and spent a terrific evening with Tara (Hollywood Rock Chic) in Long Beach. Theeeeeeeeeeeen Dustin was awesome enough to take me to the Mall of America and spend my 22nd b-day with me when I'd just moved to the Twin Cities area. That was pretty awesome, too. :) I've got pictures, if anyone wants to see them. Just ask.

It was just days after John Ritter passed away (22 September 2003) when I was Googling information on "8 Simple Rules." And...violà! One of my search results ended up being straight to the 8SR forum. I signed up for an account and started nosying around!

No clue. I just casually visited SO but didn't really label anyone as a friend.

3. What do you think you contribute most to the boards?
Nothing.

4. Who are your best SO friends?
Mike, Jenny, Kristel, and Cathy.

5. Have you ever met a fellow SO member in person?
Absolutely no one.

6. Have you ever talked to a fellow SO member on the phone?
No. Same goes with texting.

I don't know.

Nothing else. This is the only username I have ever signed up with. I've never even changed it either.

It's like that for me at Kroger. I've been there since December 2000, and some people think I've been there a lot longer. Like they'll ask me if I remember a certain employee from 1998 or 99. My favorite TV show just ended for the season (The Division) and I wanted to find some information about the show and found a site called Sitcoms online, which has fan fiction for the show.
