IMO, one of the most underrated bands of the new wave invasion was Split Enz. They split in 1984 and then begat Crowded House, who had a number of hits in the late 80's and 90's.

I missed that Crowded House concert.

I saw them in 1993 in Los Angeles.

It's been a while.

what irony, I was just going through a DVD I bought from a trader who digitized a four hour recording taped from MTV in November 1983 and the "One Step Ahead" video is on there
