Awhile back on this board, I read that there was an alternate ending filmed for this episode. It wasn't included on the DVD and everyone assumed that it was missing. But I read that it's been broadcast in Behind the Laughs: The Untold Stories of Television's Favorite Comedies. The ending apparently consisted of Sam and Diane tying the knot and a small wedding reception for them afterwards. Has anybody seen this? Have it? Could post it? I definatley would kill to see this!

I really want to see that alternate ending too.

I was looking at IMDB about that program and the company that produced it was partly The Museum of Television and Radio. So maybe if someone went to The Paley Center for Media in LA or NYC, they could check to see if it's there and people can watch it. That's possibly one way of knowing.

Yeah, I'm dying to see it too. I've posted on a few other message boards. Someone on IMDB said that they saw it and the final scene is a wedding reception for Sam and Diane and that Frasier gives a hilarious speech. I've searched EBAY, but I can't seem to find anything. I found this:

But, I don't think that's it. But boy, I'm dying to see it! Maybe we can write to one of the writers of the show...maybe they can pull some strings and distribute this.

And I have a question for some Cheers veterans. I'm a newbie myself, and just finished watching the first 8 seasons that I got for Christmas. But, did they film 3 endings as opposed to 2? And did they really film 3 endings for the final?
