Stan Livingston who played Chip in My Three Sons was blond in the first few seasons, then had red hair then had brown hair.

A lot of actors seemed to have failry light hair (mousy brown maybe) but dyed it light blonde or platinum: Barbara Bain and Lynda Day George in Mission:Impssible, Barbara Anderson in Ironside and a whole host of others from the 60s-70s.

Melissa Archer (One Life to Live) went blond briefly before reverting back to her natural red.

Wasn't Mike Lookinland a natural blonde who had his hair dyed brunette for the role of Bobby Brady on the Brady Bunch?

I also read many times that Elvis was blonde but dyed his hair black to match his mother's hair.

Winona Ryder is said to be blonde as well but prefers being a brunette.

I know that is not the topic of this thread, but it made me think of those celebs who did JUST THE OPPOSITE.

Susan Richardson during the last season of 8 is Enough dyed her hair blonde and I don't why but it was hideous on her.

Loni Anderson and Pam Anderson are obviously both bottle blonds.

Speaking of M:I, I always thought for some reason Peter Graves looked like he had tints of blonde in his head for some reason.

Jack Lord - with his odd-looking thick hair, it sometimes it looks like his hair is jet black, other times it looks like a brown-ish color.

Oh, Tori Spelling is a natural brunette.

Lisa Marie Presley is also a natural blonde (just like daddy was) but she dyes it dark. If you see her baby pics, you see her blonde hair.

Tara Spencer-Nairn who plays Karen on Corner Gas dyed her hair the first 4 seasons before letting it go back to its natural dark brown this season.....normally, i prefer brunettes but, in this case, I wish shed buy another bottle of bleach, blonde suits her better.

laura prepon of that 70s show went from readhead to blonde and the wrters even wrote the dye job into the show

Dwayne Hickman of "DOBIE GILLIS" had blonde hair when the show started, then brown, then black.

Staci Keanan (Dana at "Step by Step") was already blonde in the beginning, but she dyed her hair even lighter towards the end of the show.

I cannot picture a blonde Elvis. At least he got the right hair color. Dark!

Graves was naturally blonde but he greyed early- funny in some of the earlier season episodes his hair still looks blondish in some scenes and silver in others- weird as these scenes are in the same episodes.

Alfonso Ribeiro went blond on Fresh Prince when he was Macaulay Culkin from Home Alone at their Halloween party!

Kevin Connolly had a blonde look during the last season of Unhappily Ever After. It looked pretty silly.

Jennifer Aniston is naturally dark haired but during Friends she was a lighter brown , almost blond, then red, then dark blond again. She went actual blond around season 6 and then eventually she went light brown/blond again and by the end of the series she was auburn with blond highlights. Not only did her hair color change, so did her hairstyles.

Lucille Ball used to be blonde and then dyed her hair red when her movie career took off just before she became a star in "I Love Lucy". If you're a Three Stooges fan like I am, check out "Three Little Pigskins" where the Stooges pretend to be college football players. You will see a very young Lucy---as a blonde.



Dwayne Hickman dyed his hair blonde for his first season as Dobie Gillis so that viewers wouldn't confuse his new role for his previous one, Chuck MacDonald on "The Bob Cummings Show", where he appeared in his natural black hair color. But the dye job was making him feel very uncomfortable, so in the 2nd season, he switched back from blonde to black.

James Marsters as Spike from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". Natural hair is brown although he went gray now.

I met him at a convention in NYC back in 2011 and I overheard him talking to a fan who was on the line ahead of me. He said that he hated bleaching his hair and that he was afraid of damaging it.

Beverly Garland went from her natural brunette to blonde for most of her later career, with at least one notable exception: brunette again in the film Pretty Poison.
