Does anyone know if the little boy sitting with a fishing pool on the cusp of the DREAMWORKS half-moon is Ron Howard as Opie?

I have attached a link to the logo. It's such a sweet logo. I really enjoy DREAMWORKS animation/creations. :)

Thank you for your reply.

Welcome to the boards!!

Somehow, I doubt that's Ron Howard in the logo, but it's a nice thought. Ron has his own production company called Imagine Films.

The profile of the little boy does look like Opie's, doesn't it?

Wasn't there also a Tom Sawyer movie made in the early 70s with Johnnie Whittaker and Jodie Foster?

yea, it was a musical. I think it came out about 74 or 75. I remember once years ago, seeing it on TCM (the only good movie channel anymore).
