Yeah, the one thing I always wondered is whenever I see Britney and she's out & about, i.e. getting her coffee, going to the music store, getting something to eat, there's a ton of camera bulbs flashing at her. It's like "geez, how many pictures do you need of this girl?!"

and plus, she is only getting coffee, its not like she is sleeping with someone famous. besides, you don't expect photographers snapping away at you and flashing their cameras, left, right and centre when you come of starbucks or whatever place you came from. the media is out of touch 9 times out of 10

2005! I can't wait to get the new album. She says it's her favorite record she has ever made. :happyface Look for it Spring 2008. ;)

It's just a joke on the trend of raking celebs over the coals, for doing things as terrible as going to a party or say, breathing.

I agree about Michelle Pfeiffer. She still looks great for someone pushing 50 (!) and from what I've seen in interviews, she seems like a genuinely sweet, friendly and down-to-earth lady. I haven't seen Stardust yet, but I plan on watching it one of these days.

As for who I'd like to see and hear less of - the usual suspects...Tom & Katie, Rosie, Britney, Jamie Lynn, K-Fed, Paris, Lindsay, the Olsen twins, etc. You know the drill. I don't see it happening, though...

I don't think there's anything wrong with people who want to see less of Paris or Britney or whoever. Just because Britney was spotted at a Starbucks doesn't mean it's got to be front page news... she's a 25 year old buying coffee, big whoop. Do we need to hear about it as if she found the cure for cancer? Plus, everyone defends Paris for doing the same thing they bash K. Fed for doing.... nothing. K. Fed's this horrible scrub (which was all gender discrimination in reverse, lots of male rock singers have wives who do nothing but live off their husbands' cash, but K. Fed did the reverse and was villified) but Paris is this stylish socialite? please... neither of them are famous for anything besides doing nothing, and that's why I think it's amusing they bumped into each other at the party for photo ops.

A lot of these celebrities are too overexposed and it doesn't take a brain scientist to want to hear less about Britney, Lindsay, Paris and the others this year

I never bothered with the movie, I knew it'd be bad. The South Park parody was all I needed (the one where Stan gets "served" by a bunch of dancers and then recruits Butters as part of his group for a dance-off and Butters' shoe slides off and accidentally knocks the stagelights down and smashes the rival dance group to death  )

Britney needs to take 2008 off to...

1] get her kids back.
2] get some sort of psychological help for her bipolar disorder.
3] move back to Louisiana.
4] get in the best shape ever.

Then by the end of 2008, she should release a special "anniversary" edition of Blackout, and finally give that great album the promotion it deserves.

Speaking of the UK, I'd like to see a LOT less of the so-called "Royal" family; it's time to take this bunch of well-dressed welfare cheats and force them to get real jobs! (And get them out of my face!)

Nothing says "fun" to me like smashing up a new ride into a tree and spending a few hours in jail because they found crack on me and half empty Jack Daniels in the passenger seat. lol!

true, but the ones that TMZ and Perez are obsessed with posting daily news about (Britney, Paris, Lindsay, etc...) are. Nobody wants to follow up on if someone like Reese Witherspoon was spotted at a Walgreens or something because Reese presents herself with class and doesn't make a total ass of herself to stay in the spotlight.
