someone mentioned him in the "guiltiest people thread" and I dont't remember who this was if anyone can refresh my memory that would be sweet ;)

I started that thread, and he was in the initial batch I mentioned. His wife disappeared, and he gave the police a letter that she wrote saying that she was leaving him, but it was altered and it was an old note that she had planned on giving him awhile back, but they had patched things up. There were numerous issues with Rob's version of events, such as him not being able to notice his wife's distinctive looking car even thought it was right across the street from where he was. A psychic was contacted, and received an image of him and another woman burying Pam Page's body, but it has never been found.

You know though, I for some reason have never been one to completely believe that Rob Page was guilty. I am not saying he didnt murder his wife or have her murdered, but I am just saying I was never fully convinced he did it. Obviously there was never enough evidence to charge him, they could have charged him but chances are he would have been acquitted with no body and no evidence that his wife was even dead.

What made Page look bad was that he initially lied about what happened, he told the detective that he was afraid the cops would think he did it so he lied, it is possible, but Page went to pretty elaborate lengths, such as typing the last paragraph of the letter, signing Pam's name, but claiming she typed the rest. My question would be, what happened to that 60 grand that Rob claimed Pam took with her? I doubt Rob would throw away 60 grand so if that money could be found it could answer a lot of questions.

I did find it odd though too how Page refused to appear in the UM segment but told them off camera that he hoped his wife would be found. But still, for some reason I just never thought of Page as being in the same group as Mark Nichols, Jule Caylor, Jim Harrison, Michael Haim, Stephen Marfeo, etc.

Well its not one of those cases where I immediately thought he was guilty but after having thought it through I do think he was responsible for her disappearance. This case is so similar to the Doreen Marfeo one, don't you think? It seemed strange to me that Rob refused to do an on-camera interview for UM. I mean if his wife truly left wouldn't you think he would want to help in any way he can with trying to find out what happened to her? Plus the whole idea of him adding things to that letter and printing it out, he definitely acts like a person who has something to hide. Pam seemed to be close with her family so if she ran off with someone else I think she would definitely have contacted them afterwards to let them know she was okay. I think she's dead and that her husband killed her.

Well, the big problem I have with this killing theory is, where is the proof? I mean a dog was missing, clothes were missing, one of their cars was missing even I believe, 60 grand gone, I mean where did all this stuff go?

Yes, Rob looked bad by lying, but my guess would be he came home, noticed his wife was gone, he was embarassed because his wife supposedly left him for another woman and took their cash and some of their possessions. I mean, while somewhat far-fetched it isnt totally impossible that Rob was telling the truth.

I actually think it is possible that Rob didnt appear on camera on UM because he was afraid it would backfire, that it would appear as self-serving if he appeared on the show, they didnt need him on the show to interview anyway, they had pictures of Pam and stuff. If some of this missing stuff could be found then it would explain one way or the other whether Rob was responsible for his wife's disappearance.

Rob did work an 8 hour shift at the video store, he was seen there, so I dont know, if Rob was involved in his wife's disappearance than I am not entirely convinced he was the one that physically killed her. Obviously there are only two possibilities, either she is dead and Rob was involved in way or another or she ran off with this mysterious "Sarah" to be in a lesbian relationship with her.
