Olivia will always be number one for me. Until someone else who is horrendous comes along.

Belle on ALICE. They should have just stuck with Flo or found Jolene (the actress) faster.

Pam on Cosby Show

Carl on Good Times...what was the point of bringing him on only to have him disappear? I mean, I was happy to see Flo happy, even though the man was all wrong for her, but then to take him off the show like that? Weird.

Rose on The Waltons. That show should have just quit at that point when Olivia left.

am I the only Terri fan (judging that there was even a poster named Teri Alden Hater)? I admit I've always found TC to be extremely overrated on SO, but I do think Terri brought some sophistication to the blonde on the show that neither Chrissy or Cindy had. Chrissy was as bad in her last season or two as Joey on Friends in terms of being naive and almost functionally ********

Functionally ********?-LOL

No, I liked Terri too. I always liked Chrissy better in seasons 1-3, but Terri was always fun to watch too.

I think another bad addition would be Bev on Roseanne. I didn't mind her in an episode or two in the early seasons, but once she became part owner of the restaurant and started loaning everyone money, I couldn't take another minute of her, especiall during the ninth seasons, when she seemed to be appearing more than everyone else in the episodes.

yea, Bev was a character where too much was overkill. My favorite Bev moment had to be the tag scene in season 7 in the episode where she and Fred hit it off, and she broke character and said that the whole annoying pitch and mannerism thing was an act

Yeah, that was another hilarious tag scene from the show. But besides that, she was just annoying. That shirll voice, and her overdone smile, it was all just too madeup. Too bad we couldn't have seen more of the "real" Bev-LOL

Forgot about CJ - but that one was about the worst for any show. After he joined the cast, ratings got worse, and you could no longer take the show seriously, because David Spade screwed up every scene he was in.

And reguarding CJ from "8 Simple Rules" I disagree with everyone. I think he was hilarious in the show. He brought the funny back! It's the one David Spade role I actually liked. I couldn't stand "Just Shoot Me!" or "Rules of Engagement."

David Spade is an okay comedian. He is okay. If you seen his SNL years as well as his movie clips, it is practically the same comic routine he always did for years. It is freaking no different from his Just Shoot show or his Eight Simple Rules show. It is the same comic deadpan humor that Spade played ever since. Nothing against him, but he is really not my cup of tea.

Had Chris Farley lived, I wonder where David Spade's career would be now. It seemed like those two would be a movie-making team like Stiller/Wilson (a real DUMBED-DOWN Stiller/Wilson, but still)...

GOD, how I hated Rich. I'd stopped watching the show in first run by the time he came along, but I used to catch the reruns and....just wow. Annoying doesn't even begin to describe it. I liked the actor as Burt Ward in a "Batman" movie, though.

For me, worst addition to a show has to be Wendy Schaal as Julie on Fantasy Island.

Like... why the heck was she there? Her character was annoying and always in the way. (Not to mention I've seen better acting out of a 2 year old.)
