TVFactFan 01-02-2008, 10:08 PM Penny on Good times
Oliva on the Cosby Show
Cindy on Three's Company
Second Vivian on Fresh Prince
secomd Lionel on Jeffersons
Ireneparalegal 01-02-2008, 10:11 PM Olivia will always be number one for me. Until someone else who is horrendous comes along.
Belle on ALICE. They should have just stuck with Flo or found Jolene (the actress) faster.
Pam on Cosby Show
Carl on Good Times...what was the point of bringing him on only to have him disappear? I mean, I was happy to see Flo happy, even though the man was all wrong for her, but then to take him off the show like that? Weird.
Rose on The Waltons. That show should have just quit at that point when Olivia left.

Good One!
Dean Winchester 01-03-2008, 05:37 PM am I the only Terri fan (judging that there was even a poster named Teri Alden Hater)? I admit I've always found TC to be extremely overrated on SO, but I do think Terri brought some sophistication to the blonde on the show that neither Chrissy or Cindy had. Chrissy was as bad in her last season or two as Joey on Friends in terms of being naive and almost functionally ********

Functionally ********?-LOL
No, I liked Terri too. I always liked Chrissy better in seasons 1-3, but Terri was always fun to watch too.
I think another bad addition would be Bev on Roseanne. I didn't mind her in an episode or two in the early seasons, but once she became part owner of the restaurant and started loaning everyone money, I couldn't take another minute of her, especiall during the ninth seasons, when she seemed to be appearing more than everyone else in the episodes.

yea, Bev was a character where too much was overkill. My favorite Bev moment had to be the tag scene in season 7 in the episode where she and Fred hit it off, and she broke character and said that the whole annoying pitch and mannerism thing was an act

Yeah, that was another hilarious tag scene from the show. But besides that, she was just annoying. That shirll voice, and her overdone smile, it was all just too madeup. Too bad we couldn't have seen more of the "real" Bev-LOL
Audrey Liddell - "Dawson's Creek"
Orson Hodge - "Desperate Housewives"
Nancy Oleson, James and Cassandra Cooper, The Carters - "Little House on the Prairie"

Forgot about CJ - but that one was about the worst for any show. After he joined the cast, ratings got worse, and you could no longer take the show seriously, because David Spade screwed up every scene he was in.
catlover79 01-04-2008, 12:48 AM I don't know - Chrissy snow is not a person I'd like to be alone with-LOL.
As my mom would say, "If she had brains, she'd be dangerous."

I guess all that hairspray she had in her hair over the years finally got to her-LOL. It seemed like as she got dumber, her hair got bigger.
Adamantium 01-05-2008, 09:36 PM 1. Nicky & Alex Katsopolis (Full House)
2. Maggie Beckett (Sliders)
3. Jimmy Fallon (Saturday Night Live)
4. Elmo (Sesame Street) - I agree with Zoneboy!
5. Deputy Warren Ferguson (The Andy Griffith Show)
And reguarding CJ from "8 Simple Rules" I disagree with everyone. I think he was hilarious in the show. He brought the funny back! It's the one David Spade role I actually liked. I couldn't stand "Just Shoot Me!" or "Rules of Engagement."
88survivor 01-05-2008, 10:09 PM David Spade is an okay comedian. He is okay. If you seen his SNL years as well as his movie clips, it is practically the same comic routine he always did for years. It is freaking no different from his Just Shoot show or his Eight Simple Rules show. It is the same comic deadpan humor that Spade played ever since. Nothing against him, but he is really not my cup of tea.

Had Chris Farley lived, I wonder where David Spade's career would be now. It seemed like those two would be a movie-making team like Stiller/Wilson (a real DUMBED-DOWN Stiller/Wilson, but still)...
Nighthawk76 01-05-2008, 10:28 PM Pam on Cosby Show
Sam on Diff'rent Strokes
Pippa on Facts Of Life
Dawn on Buffy The Vampire Slayer (to this day, many of us wish she had been pushed off the ledge in "The Gift")

I actually find Pippa to be funny.
Nighthawk76 01-05-2008, 10:30 PM Agent John Doggert and Agent Monica Reyes during the last two season of The X-Files.
Dean Winchester 01-05-2008, 10:33 PM I actually find Pippa to be funny.
even after all these years, part of me still resents that Pippa made the final shot of the girls in the series finale, while Natalie wasn't there
Nighthawk76 01-05-2008, 10:42 PM even after all these years, part of me still resents that Pippa made the final shot of the girls in the series finale, while Natalie wasn't there
That's a good point.
Damn, I always manage to forget Pippa even existed. Poor thing. They should have stopped with Andy, he was a good character. Pippa was just too much.
PlayOn 01-06-2008, 12:39 AM I'm going to add Dana's boyfriend (forgot his name) from 'Step By Step.' He was annoying.
Also, Khan (or however you spell it) from 'King of the Hill.' I wish he and is family would go back to where ever they came from.
Skywalker 01-06-2008, 01:01 AM Randy Pearson - That '70's Show
Seven - Married... With Children
Nelson Flavor - Mork and Mindy
Charles Winchester - M*A*S*H
3J - Family Matters
dawsongirl 01-06-2008, 01:27 AM Kenneth Washington as Sgt Baker - Hogan's Heroes
That was hardly even an addition as they did absolutely nothing with his character. They would have been better off not adding anyone.
Zoneboy 01-06-2008, 01:30 AM That was hardly even an addition as they did absolutely nothing with his character. They would have been better off not adding anyone.
Agreed
friendsfan77 01-06-2008, 01:43 AM Beau - Welcome Back, Kotter

from 'Step By Step.' He was annoying
His name was Rich. I didn't like him either.

Rich! Thank you. I couldn't think of his name. I tend to block bad things from my mind. lol.
dawsongirl 01-06-2008, 01:57 AM Alex and Casey - Wings
The Katsopolis brats - Full House
friendsfan77 01-06-2008, 02:06 AM The Katsopolis brats - Full House
I agree and that made me laugh.
Beau - Welcome Back, Kotter
His name was Rich. I didn't like him either.
GOD, how I hated Rich. I'd stopped watching the show in first run by the time he came along, but I used to catch the reruns and....just wow. Annoying doesn't even begin to describe it. I liked the actor as Burt Ward in a "Batman" movie, though.
catlover79 01-06-2008, 01:41 PM Billy - Who's the Boss
JulieSomoski 01-06-2008, 01:45 PM Billy - Who's the Boss
God, I couldn't stand that kid. Everytime he was in a scene I'd change the channel. He was bratter than Michelle on Full House-LOL. It was a good thing he was gone after season 7.
catlover79 01-06-2008, 01:51 PM God, I couldn't stand that kid. Everytime he was in a scene I'd change the channel. He was bratter than Michelle on Full House-LOL. It was a good thing he was gone after season 7.
A kid brattier than Michelle - that's no mean feat!!!
James 01-06-2008, 04:30 PM Mary Ann Spencer - Perfect Strangers
Rose, Jeffrey, and Serena Burton - The Waltons
Jeff Billings* - The Wonder Years
* - Any of the newcomers from when Kevin entered high school is on my list, but this was the first to come to mind.
ChanandMon 01-14-2008, 12:14 PM Rebecca on Cheers
The whole cast of Little House a New Beginning
Oh Alan Shore on the Practice is a good one too. I hated him which is why I will never watch Boston Legal.
Gemini_89 03-27-2016, 02:48 AM George Clooney on The Facts of Life. They added him, why?? Jo provided all of the testosterone they will ever need. Clooney wasn't needed and i'm glad he didn't last that long.
VillechaizeLove 03-29-2016, 01:18 AM For me, worst addition to a show has to be Wendy Schaal as Julie on Fantasy Island.
Like... why the heck was she there? Her character was annoying and always in the way. (Not to mention I've seen better acting out of a 2 year old.)
