Noticed tonight they are now shrinking the closing credits on Alice with promos on one side of the screen :(

:mad: I hate it when they shrink credits. Thank goodness the DVDs leave them on intact.

God Blessed! Happy New Year from Ion, we're now going to squish credits so we can show another promo for Drew Carey and Mamas's Family, in addition to the constant splashing of the ads over the show.
With the way they are promoting Drew Carey, you would think someone working there was to "get ratings for this show, or you're fired!"

As I convert these to DVD, I'll have to now play around with the pan and zoom features to see if I can get rid of the junk they are airing beside the credits, but I don't know if can "unsqueeze" them.

That sucks. I hate it when networks do this; especially when we have already seen the ad a few minutes ago and will again in the same span of time.

I guess if there's one positive thing to look at, at least on Alice, they don't show the guest stars during the closing credits, so ION keeps that part full screen (I really hate it when I'm trying to figure out who someone is, and you can't read the credits)

Yeah I remember back when they were Pax and did that squeeze credit thing, and they were always generic. I noticed that with The Hogan Family; guest stars were never even listed.
