THAT IS HILARIOUS. I did think that same thing when I was watching. Whenever June asks (or tells) him something needs to be done, he just gets after it without even a sigh, or 'I'll get to it later". The perfect husband!

When Beaver ran away froom home June told Ward that if he did not go out and look for Beaver then she would go and look for him herself. I assume that she meant with the car.

No, June doesn't go to the store, Ward does but he couldn't find Beaver since Beaver and Larry had left the store before Ward got there... He had the car and June had to wait till the doctor came to see Wally.

Yes, June mentions driving in some of the earlier episodes. She refers to Ward leaving her the car and such, but you know, back in the 50's most families only had one car. This is how I remember it. Ward was the man of the family and, therefore, did all the driving. June probably had her drivers' license and was able to drive, but only if there was a situation when the car would have been available to her.

^ Yes, my grandmother didn't drive until she was in her 50s because my grandfather did all the driving. Her job, church, library, etc. were all within walking distance. Grandpa finally asked her to get her driver's license in case he broke an arm or something. She got it, but never really enjoyed driving and only did it out of necessity. I can still see her 1975 dark green Dodge Dart in my mind. :lol:
