I know. During the middle of season four of the new class, his voice changed and got to the point that it was actually offending me. :rolleyes:

it was odd, u see i have only watched the new class on my DVD player. i was really surprised to see that his vioce was sp wierd.

I don't really have a preference. I've always like Screech, and I thought Lisa was being too mean to him.

Screech was alright in both, but I understand what's his problem.

In the original class, that class was too difficult for him to be included.

In the new class, that class wasn't too difficult for him to be included. But also in the new class, they were trying to make that Screech character more realistic, but they may have made that character too strong along the way and them too imbalanced in the last two seasons.

I don't care if he annoys Belding or not, but as long the new class students show better respect and popularity on Screech, he would gain more relief in that new class.

I never saw him when he went to work at the school, but I loved him when he was still a student. :) :) :)

P.S. I pray that things concerning Dustin have gotten better these days. It was sad to see how awful his attitude was when he was on that Celebrity Fit Club show several years ago. :( :( :(

I think the main problem is that by this point (and maybe during the "Tori episodes" also), Dustin Diamond arguably no longer had the ability to naturally play a real character and instead, decided to take Screech's most notable (and dare I say, often annoying) attributes and turned them up to level #10.

Even if he portrayed fairly as a student in the original class, he also portrayed alright as a assistant in the new class.

The reason why his voice changed in season 4 of the new class is because they wanted his character to become more realistic.

But I understand why you all think that it is completely offensive is because they may have made his realistic character TOO STRONG for no reason at all. But they made it worse on the final two season of the new class (seasons 6 and 7).

I don't care if he annoys Belding or not at the same time, but he got along well with all the new class students, which makes him feel more relieved.
