Melissa Joan Hart's baby, due in a couple of months, is already making his or her presence known.

"The new babe is kicking like a maniac and may actually be more active than Mason was (if that's possible)," Hart 31, says on her MySpace page.

Mason, her son with husband Mark Wilkerson, turns 2 on Jan. 11 and is "talking like crazy, just like his mom," she reports.

Hart, now seven months along, announced her pregnancy in September.

Hart and Wilkerson, married since July 2003, will ring in 2008 in New York's Times Square, where she'll introduce her "hot hubby" and his band Course of Nature on stage for a Fox New Year's Eve special.

Wilkerson was nominated for a Grammy award for "It's Not Over," a song he wrote for Daughtry, and his own CD Damaged will be released Jan. 29.

"My Christmas movie Holiday in Handcuffs blew out ratings all around," Hart writes. "Maybe now the networks will get behind me to have a new show soon."

My sister said the same thing when she was pregnant. Seeing as how my nephew is into everything and hasn't been still a moment in his life, I now see what she meant.

 Irene, have you seen that Kia commercial that spoofs Flashdance and uses "Maniac" as background music?? Our local news airs it at least once during each commercial break.
