Just watched the episode I taped, Beaver the model.
He seems to not learn a lesson or the writers forgot he had to pay the lawyer to get that modeling agency off his back...

But then again, maybe they wanted to show that people do get gyped no matter what..

Like today.. if you fill out something and they send you something in return, they never leave you alone..

If I recall, he did pay the lawyer. The lawyer was a friend of Ward's and all Beaver had was something like 68 cents and the man accepted it. ;)

Yeah... think the writers forgot that...

Then the lawyer called Ward... why did he have to do that?

I guess I'm not sure what you are asking here. I thought you didn't realize that Beaver DID pay. If you are wondering why he called Ward, I think it's to prove that when you are a kid, Your parents find stuff out, no matter what lengths you take to cover it up. ;)

I'm not asking anything... Just saying that it seems the writers forget things... Or Beaver should have learned his lesson after this incident to paying the lawyer to not go behind his parents back and send for things that he later can't pay for.

Ward did say that this should cause Beaver to not subscribe to things... Was this before or after the accordian episode?

Okay, now I think I know what you are talking about. Yes, I think it was before the accordian episode. Yeah, I said he never learned his lesson either and then I see another episode. It seemed the Beav was slow when it came to life lessons, even when Gus the fireman tried to tell him stuff (which he seemed to listen to).

Beaver definitely never learns a lesson- you would think after his problems with the Modeling Agency and the Accordian Fiasco, he wouldn't have messed up when he signed up for the Record Club.
