I haven't seen the spin-off since it aired originally. I just know it was not all that. I would love to watch it just for old times sake.

"Alice" airs Monday-Thursday on the ION network, at 7:00PM and 7:30PM eastern, 6:00PM and 6:30PM central. It was on there from April to June 2007, but came back in November.

I'm with WalkingTall, I love the theme song from "Flo." I really want to see the show too, no matter how bad it's supposed to be.

Missed it, but saw Gremlins again last week and forgot she was in it. Boy, had she really aged from the time she was on Alice to the time of that movie.

I always assumed she was made to look older for that movie. Then again, we saw her as Flo wearing that wig, they must have seen a hot, sexy lady underneath all that and thought by adding a wig, it would make her appear younger. It worked. :D She also appeared in Home Improvement.

I sure saw the episode. Linda Lavin made her disliked towards Polly Holliday very obvious by her reactions to Flo that season. If you watched the episodes in the 79-80 season she was constantly rolling her eyes at Polly when she got a laugh. You hardly saw Alice and Flo interacting together in that season. It was too bad the producers allowed that kind of unprofessional behavior from Linda being displayed.

I was just think what would happen Between Linda and Polly if Polly stayed all 9 season's of Alice

I saw it the other night. My favorite part was when Mel pretended like he didn't care, he had that mean look, and next thing you know, he teared up and ran in the bathroom. LOL That was too funny!

I think you can thank Linda Lavin for that.

Because someone else had replaced her on Alice and she had a contract. Also, because of what Garfieldkool stated.

Linda was not happy with Polly anymore. With Polly gone, there would be no reason to ask her back on a show when the star of the show (Linda) didn't like her.

Yes. Not all cable companies carry ION. You should contact your cable provider and ask them abt it. ION was formerly the PAX channel.

You're probably right - she would have looked "normal" or "in between in real life" - you just drop the makeup for making her older, with adding a lighter foundation if anything and then do the lines thing and all (theatrical makeup that is). Then for Flo, do her makeup to the other extreme - with the blue eye shadows and all. ; )

I forgot she was on Home Improvement too!

She was also on Golden Girls and on Match Game in the 1970s. I was also shocked to see her IMDB page and see that she was also in Mrs. Doubtfire. I've seen that movie many times and never realized she was in it.

Yes, she was Jill's mom on Home Improvement and was hilarious.
