Actress Mischa Barton has been arrested for driving under the influence (DUI). The former The O.C. star was busted by Los Angeles police officers after they pulled her car over in West Hollywood at around 3 a.m. on Thursday.

According to Hollyscoop.com, 21-year-old Barton - who was listed as 'Burton' on the booking sheet - is also facing charges for driving without a valid license and possession of illegal narcotics.

She is currently being held on $10,000 bail.

Actress Mischa Barton had been smoking marijuana when she was arrested by police for driving under the influence on Thursday morning, according to reports.

The former The O.C. star was pulled over by West Hollywood cops in the early hours of Thursday when she was spotted straddling two lanes of traffic. She was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI, but was also booked for possession of narcotics and driving on a suspended license.

And the 21-year-old, who scored a 0.12 on a breathalyser test, was also found to have marijuana on her person, as well as prescription drugs which were not in her name, according to TMZ.com.

She is currently free on $10,000 bail after being released on Thursday night.
