This episode has borrowed from the old Christmas story "The Gift of the Magi." Many tv shows have used this story as an episode. The sitcom ALICE also had this episode.

Its a funny episode, everyone is expecting a different gift than the one they actually get. Poor Doug gets mental man from Carrie instead of Mentalo. The look on his face is so funny when he realizes he's got the cheap knock-off.
