I googled her name yesterday and was surprised I couldn't remember her being on other shows. She died very young, at age 43 I think, from breast cancer. They sure had it down perfect, note for note. Those guys were talented with their bango and guitar. I'm glad TV Land at least picked up one classic sitcom. Maynard 01-02-2008, 02:57 AM Speaking of Lester Flat, does anyone know if he and Earl Scuggs sang the theme song that was heard every week? As mentioned, Jerry Scoggins sang the theme, but Flatt and Scruggs sang a version (mostly Flatt) and released it as a single during the show's first season. I believe it was a hit, but don't quote me on that. Brian Damage 01-02-2008, 12:32 PM Holy Smokes!!! Look at those photos of her! Where's Brian Damage? She also was featured in one of the last season episodes of the "Adventures of Superman" as a policewoman who masqueraded as Superman's wife. Made Lois Lane jealous of her of course. |
