I recently watched Bill Bixby's last interview for Entertainment Tonight,
which I taped back in 1993. Of course, it is sad to watch but also uplifting.
Battling cancer, it was obvious that he had lost a lot of weight. But, even then, his thoughts were about others. He described another cancer patient
he had visited in the hospital. She had lost all her hair, from chemo therapy
treatments. But when he walked into her room, her face just glowed.

His last words to the audience were especially poignant: "Be good to yourselves, because if you're good to yourself, then you'll be good to everybody else ... I'd like to see that happen before I die." Two months
later, Bix was gone.

:( So very sad. Bill Bixby just always seemed like a very nice man....a person you'd want as a friend.

I agree. One of the truely kind people in the world.

That interview is so sad. :(
