Here's a few, some of them may not be considered "serious episodes" though.
Where There's A Will, There's A Way (2-2)
Jill finds some wills that Tim and she never finished. She wants to finish them now but Tim doesn't, because of the fact his father died so young.
Arrivederci, Binford (3-5)
Tim is afraid to cry after Mr. Binford, his boss and close friend, passes away.
Death Begins At Forty (4-4)
Harry, the hardware store owner, has a heart attack, and Tim begins to worry about his health as he's approaching his 40th birthday
A Marked Man (4-25)
Al tells Tim and Jill that one of their boys may have stolen a pocket knife. They don't believe their boys would steal, but they find the knife in Mark's pocket in the laundry.
The Longest Day (5-22)
After a medical checkup, the family finds out that Randy may have cancer.
Taps (6-24)
To keep her father away because of the pressure she's under, Jill fakes an illness only to find out that he died shortly after she lied to him.
What a Drag (7-16)
When Tim falls through the gazebo he discovers a small bag of marijuana taped to the underside of the swing. Jill and Tim stake out their backyard from Wilson's to catch the culprit... to everyone's surprise, Brad is caught red-handed with the goods.
