1. Why does a song sound better on the radio than when you listen to that same song on your CD?

2. Why were my Damaged CD's able to play on my LAPTOP but when I tried to play them on my Stereo they were skipping? On the Laptop-"NO SKIPPING"

Maybe you need to clean your stereo CD player. My boyfriend complained that his Cd's were scratched, even though I had just burned them for him a few weeks ago. So he bought a CD player cleaner and now they play just fine.

I noticed that too  When i have a song on CD, its not near as good as when it plays on the radio for some reason. I dont know the reason, but my guess is that the radio sounds different than your cd (a difference that is hardly noticeable), and when you play that song over and over again, you get tired of that version. But once you hear it on the radio, the song sounds different maybe, again, you may not notice, but it is. Thats what i think, anyways. Its the only explanation
