I mean she is the grandmother right? And Max told her to take her "TIRED A$$ HOME" and what grandmom wouldn't have slapped the sh*T out of her teenage grandson who spoke to her that way?

Why the hell was Angie and George saying-"DON"T HIT Y CHILD like she was a Stranger???-lol

I was shocked that Max said that regardless.

My feeling is that George and Angie are not physical when it comes to punishment. Also because Bennie is not really much of a grandmother, she is just another adult to Max. She treats kids like she did George, like crap.

Yeah but I still think she had a right to slap him. She may not have not really been a grandmother but she was still George's mother and that made her his grandmother

I keep thinking abt this question and that scene. Max only talked to his grandmother in the same way he heard his father talk to Benny. I mean, George has his reasons for treating his mother the way he does, he wasn't holding back anything when he said and did things to Benny in front of Max. Max was now doing that. It was learned behavior. There was no reason for her to slap Max. She should have turned to George and told him something like "You see what you have taught your son." She is not one to gives respect very much to anyone if you notice, she had no business slapping him. She doesn't even treat the kids like grandkids.

There are many moments where she treats those around her like crap. It is not easy to be respectful to someone who gives no respect to begin with. Last night George even apologized to her (although he felt like he wasn't wrong) just to put an end to certain feelings, but she got up and called him a wuss. She goes around name-calling, so she shouldn't be slapping someone for wanting her to take her "tired a$$" home. Who wants to be around someone like that? I don't.
