99 let out blood curdling screams as KAOS snipers hit Max several times with gunshots as he made his way from Bascombs apartment to the courthouse over a sky line....fortunately, they were actually shooting at a dummy while Max casually walked across the street!

I cant remember the details (Havent seen that one in awhile) but, i do seem to recall 99 saying something like "I'm leaving you cause I'm not good enough, for you Max!" , but, the details escape me atm

She was on an assignment and while she was away Max was to protect scientist, Dr. Cannon. (she had invented an invisiblity spray, with success) And he didn't know (let alone the Chief) that the doctor was a woman. And 99 comes home much earlier than expected, finding a strange woman on her bed!
