What did you think of their Christmas tree? 133454 133455 AB 12-24-2007, 03:10 PM Cindy asks Santa for her mom to get her voice back in the episode. I thought that was so sweet. 133456 133457 Waterston_Fan 12-24-2007, 03:46 PM Yeah I like the episode too... Do you think Mike should have told Cindy there really is no Santa Claus? We find out in 'A Very Brady Christmas' that Cindy didn't believe in Santa after her mom lost her voice when she had the chat with Mike. Scoobiedoo30 01-01-2008, 03:08 AM this is my favorite episode ComedyGuy 01-01-2008, 11:18 AM I really like all the Christmas cards in the railing and I thought the actor who played Santa might have been Otis Cambell from The Andy Griffith show at least the voice sounded like him anyway. Cindy's wish is/was an unselfish wish and sweet too and like Santa said he took one loook into those baby blues and just couldn't say no and I couldn't say no either. AB 01-01-2008, 05:06 PM ^I believe it was Otis (Hal Smith) that played Santa too. And Cindy was just too adorable in that episode. kooky12 01-02-2008, 01:28 PM Wow I haven't seen that ep in years, but I still remember Cindy asking Santa to get Mom's voice back - I remember the "please" What is Carol wearing in the posted picture - looks like an over-the-neck bib ! It's a scarf.. she just didn't have it tight around her neck the way you are supposed to. AB 01-02-2008, 04:41 PM ^ It kind of looks like an incredibly wide tie. But yeah, I believe it's a scarf too. catlover79 01-02-2008, 06:26 PM I always liked it. Wasn't this the only Christmas episode? (I'm not counting the 1988 reunion movie here.) Waterston_Fan 01-02-2008, 08:49 PM I always liked it. Wasn't this the only Christmas episode? According to imdb, Lewis Arquette portrayed Santa in the reunion movie. I just can't believe that this year marks the 20th anniversary of Very Brady Christmas!!! :faint: Waterston_Fan 01-02-2008, 11:46 PM I thought so. Thanks! As far as I know he is alive, right? catlover79 01-02-2008, 11:47 PM Yeah... would have been nice if Allan Melvin who was the real Sam in the show made an apperence.... As far as I know he is alive, right? Last I heard, he is. I read that he was approached to reprise the role of Sam but he turned the offer down. Waterston_Fan 01-03-2008, 01:06 AM Last I heard, he is. I read that he was approached to reprise the role of Sam but he turned the offer down. Oh, he did? I had no idea he turned it down... Wonder if he was doing a movie or just didn't want to do it... Unless he didn't think it was right for Sam to um... have an affair then Sam comes back in the end... catlover79 01-03-2008, 01:13 AM Oh, he did? I had no idea he turned it down... I believe I read that in the book Bradymania by Elizabeth Moran. |
