Good News!!

The Mary Tyler Moore Show is now available on the iTunes Music Store! Downloadable are seasons 1 - 3. Here is the link:

Does this mean season 5 - 7 will eventually be offered on iTunes? Perhaps. iTunes offers Season 3 of Hill Street Blues, also an MTM production, as a download, and season 3 has never been available on DVD.

I got so excited when I saw this thread, b/c I just got itunes last week. Too bad it's only 1-3. If they ever start the remaining seasons, I'll be the happiest person! LOL But it's good it's there, anyway.

^ Well, it's a start, Kristen. Maybe they'll get enough people to watch who will demand the complete series!! :D We can only hope.

Wow finally yes this will be go for the future dvd releases and I have a video Ipod so I'll probably download it

I may go broke. I can't seem to stop myself from downloading episodes even though I already have them on DVD. Oh well, I guess if enough people do that they'll realize that they need to release the rest.... ;)

Just bumping this up b/c I noticed last night that episodes are also availible (for download, I mean) on Amazon.com. I thought I'd mention it in case anybody doesn't feel like downloading itunes or something.

Remember, episodes are only $1.99 a piece, so it's not a bad idea for someone who wants to give the show a chance. (Can you tell I'm trying to spread the word here in hopes of possibly getting Fox to release Season 5? LOL)
