In philly we call them "CANDY APPLES" that were on a Wooden stick. I never liked them

I know Candy Apples, I like them, but never heard them called Jelly Apples. Might be a Chicago thing.

I looked up some info on Jelly Apples, didn't find too much on it. It kept coming up "Apple Jelly". I did find one thing on it where it said dip the apple in hot jelly and let it cool til it's hard and crunchy. I guess that's a Candy Apple.

I actually asked my mom what an Jelly Apple was a few years back and she said that she doesn't remember any candy by that name.

I searched the internet and like Craftman said, kept coming up with Apple Jelly, but no JELLY APPLE.
