What special food treats do you like to make or get for Christmas?
I make & decorate sugar cookies and also make those chocolate covered peanut-butter candy for my family and friends.

I usually make traditional homemade shortbread from a recipe handed down from my Grandmother in Scotland. It's different than most because it's made with rice flour and everyone says it's the best they've ever had.
I haven't made it the past couple of years though. Hopefully next year.

I always look forward to my Mom's amazing stuffing (she makes it with the turkey gizzards and mashed potatoes)

I'm going to spend Christmas with my family this year; two years ago I thought cookies would be a good idea. They were nice and decorating wasn't really bad but it was too time consuming. I'm making a cake. That seems much easier to me.
Making Christmas treats does take awhile, but they are so good. (lol!)
I usually make mine 3 or 4 days before Christmas. This year I had to make a batch early since my husbands family had their dinner on the 16th. So now I get to make more this weekend.

We make little Christmas tree cakes; basically bake little cone shaped cakes (looks like trees), frost them and then roll them in sprinkles (for the lights) and use those edible gold/silver balls for decorations. They always look so pretty and taste so good!
We also bake lots and lots of cookies.
