I was just watching The Lucy Show, Lucy and the French Star, and she got sloshed off of the champaign. I absolutely love it when she plays drunk..and i got to thinking...what episodes on ILL did she get drunk...not too many that i can remember...Lucy does a tv commercial...what others? I have noticed she did alot more drunk scenes in TLS and HL than ILL. What are some of your fav. drunk scenes?

Sorry, but my favorite is from a movie, not her tv shows. In Yours Mine and Ours, that drunk scene is incredible, the crying and laughing at the same time was unbelievable. She didn't even want to do it,s he said one or the other but the director KNEW she could do it, so he insisted and she was phenomenal Al so the other drunk scene in Fuller Brush Girl is also amazing, and sustained, same as with Ann Sothern on The Lucy Show at that wine tasting which floored me or the one they did together in the first Lucy Desi comedy hour, yes, Lucy could play drunk so well. Oh and she did it ALSO on one of the two Danny Kaye shows or specials she did with him.

Yours, Mine and Ours is my all time favorite drnk scene too.

She also got drunk in the Comedy Hour one where she and Ann Sothern went to Cuba and they were in jail.

Did you know that the Vitameatvegamin DRUNK scene was based on a routine Red Skelton used to do in vaudeville called Guzzler's Gin? And that drunk scene she did while drinking the spiked water in the comedy hour with Ann was one of the few times someone ad libbed on the series, Ann said she ought to bring some of that delicious water to her mom, and they left it in.
